Land Clearing
Overgrown pasture, cedar breaks and brushy acreage cleared back to usable ground, then cut, piled and hauled off if you want it gone.
We do land clearing and dirt work in Bray, OK, a Stephens County town about 11 miles northeast of Duncan. The town sits on State Highway 29, nine miles due east of Marlow, between Clear Creek Lake and Lake Fuqua. Land clearing takes out brush and small trees, and dirt work shapes the ground for a pad or pond. Our base in Duncan and Comanche sits in the same county, so Bray is a short trip from home.
On an acreage around Bray, land clearing opens up brushy ground and brush hogging mows down tall weeds. With the Bobcat E35 mini excavator, our stump removal takes each stump out whole, root ball and all. Then dirt work and grading shapes the open ground for a house pad, a shop pad or a gravel drive. Every quote is free and given on site, after we see the ground and hear your plans for it.

Bray's post office dates to November 1908, and the town is named for its first postmaster, Thomas W. Bray. Cotton farming shaped the area, and oil and gas activity drew plenty of attention over the years. In 1977, Bray residents incorporated the town so it would not be annexed by Marlow or Duncan. The new town took in about 66 square miles, and its main street stretched for a full eight miles.
Despite those wide town limits, Bray stayed overwhelmingly rural, and most residents worked in nearby larger towns. Stephens County, Bray included, lies within the Red Bed Plains physiographic region, drained by creeks instead of a major river. The 1964 USDA soil survey maps Kirkland and Renfrow soils, formed in clayey red-bed material, across the county uplands. It calls them claypan soils, with a compact, blocky clay subsoil that lets water through very slowly.
Yes, and on a raw acreage the land clearing comes first, before any dirt gets moved. Our tractor brush hog mows the open ground, and the skid steer brush cutter takes on the thicker brush. Small trees, cedar and root crowns come out whole with the Bobcat E35 mini excavator, and the holes get backfilled. With the roots out of the ground, we can cut a house or shop pad on clean dirt.
The Kubota SVL75 track loader and the second skid steer cut and shape house and shop pads. Where the ground is slow-draining claypan, we build the pad up above grade and slope it so rain runs off. For gravel drives, we shape and crown the dirt first, then haul rock on our gooseneck dump trailer. The mini excavator can also dig the trench for a water line out to the new build.
Our machines are a Bobcat E35 mini excavator, a Kubota SVL75 track loader, a second track skid steer and a tractor with a brush hog. One skid steer carries a hydraulic brush cutter for brush too thick for the brush hog. A flatbed truck pulls our gooseneck dump trailer, which hauls rock and dirt to and from the job. That is the whole fleet, and it suits brushy acreage, fence rows, stumps, small ponds and house pads.
We do not run a forestry mulcher, a dozer, a stump grinder or a dump truck. Big standing timber is past our equipment, and we will say so at the quote, before a date is set. Where big trees stand, we can clear the brush beneath them and leave the trees in place. Set up a free on-site quote, and we will tell you what our equipment can do on your land.

Overgrown pasture, cedar breaks and brushy acreage cleared back to usable ground, then cut, piled and hauled off if you want it gone.
Skid steer brush cutter through the stuff a bush hog bounces off, cutting overgrown pasture, weedy lots and brushy acreage back to ground you can use.
Overgrown fence rows cut back clean on one side or both, so you can find the wire, fix the fence and keep cattle where they belong.
Leveling, grading, digging and dirt moved where it needs to go, so ground drains away from what you built instead of into it.
Ground cleared, cut, filled and leveled for what's coming: shop and barn pads, barndominium sites, mobile home sets and small builds.
New gravel drives, ranch roads and parking pads, shaped to drain, built to carry weight and regraded when the old one has turned to ruts.
