Site prep and building pads are where a project leaves paper and touches ground around Duncan, Marlow, Comanche and across Stephens County. Before the concrete truck, the barn kit, or the mobile home shows up, somebody has to turn a patch of pasture into a building site — brush off, topsoil handled, ground cut and filled to level, and a pad that drains away on every side. That somebody is us, and it's the work our name rides on: get the pad right and everything on it starts life level and dry.

A pad isn't a flat spot — it's a small piece of engineering pretending to be one. The organic layer comes off first, because topsoil and roots settle and a building sitting on settle is a building with cracks coming. Then the ground gets cut where it's high and built up where it's low, worked in lifts so the fill is tight, and finished just proud of the surrounding grade so water leaves in every direction instead of moving in under whatever you build.
That last part is the one people feel for years. A pad that sits low collects every rain and sends it against the slab or under the frame; a pad crowned above grade sheds it. It's a few inches of dirt that decide whether the shop floor stays dry for decades.
Steel shops and barns are the daily bread — a leveled, compacted pad sized for the slab, with room worked in for aprons and approach. Barndominiums get the same treatment at house standards, since the pad is carrying a home. Mobile and manufactured home sets have their own rules — a level, well-drained pad ready for the installer's blocking plan — and getting the site right beforehand is the difference between a clean set day and a stuck-truck story.
Rural sites come with rural realities: brush where the building goes, a gate that's tighter than the trailer, no water on site yet, red clay that's slick the week after rain. We work those every day, and we'll flag the site problems — access, drainage, dirt that needs replacing — at the walk-through, while they're still cheap to solve.
